Do you submit my visa application for me?

No — the visa application is something only you can lodge, in person, at your local Italian consulate or its visa centre. We prepare the document checklist for your country, tell you what each item has to look like, and make sure everything's ready before your appointment.

What is a Declaration of Value?

A statement issued by the Italian consulate that says what your previous qualification is worth in the Italian system (the dichiarazione di valore). Most students applying with a non-EU qualification need one; we tell you early whether yours is required and help you book the appointment.

Do my documents need to be legalised?

Usually yes — either with an apostille or through consular legalisation, depending on whether your country is party to the Hague Convention. Our visa & documents service walks you through which route applies to each document.

Which visa do I need to study in Italy?

A national long-stay visa, the Type D student visa, for any course longer than 90 days. We support the application end to end, but you lodge it yourself at the consulate.
