Beyond the classroom
A place, a piazza, a language you’ll actually use — student life here is lived outdoors, on foot, at the table.
Italy doesn’t sort people by passport — it sorts by whether you’ve made the effort. As a foreigner speaking only English, you’re handled politely but kept at arm’s length, treated as a visitor passing through. Put in the work on the language and that distance closes fast: the same shopkeeper, neighbour, or classmate who nodded along in English will argue football with you, invite you to lunch, and stop noticing where you’re from at all.
That’s the real reason our courses run alongside the application service rather than as an afterthought: fluent Italian is what turns “the foreign student” into just another person at the table — no different from anyone who grew up here.
